1. Who we are

Innova Technologies Group Ltd ("Innova Group", "we", "us", "our") is a Microsoft technology consultancy registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17205930). Our registered office is 7 Stromberg Street, Anlaby, Hull, HU10 7ER.

We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and through our Works, Systems, Cloud and Secure practices, and we handle it in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Those practices are ways we organise our own work rather than separate companies, so there is one controller for all of it — the company named above.

2. What information we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

• Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and company name when you submit an enquiry or contact form.
• Communications — the content of messages you send us by email or through our website contact forms.
• Usage data — basic technical information such as browser type and IP address, recorded automatically in our hosting provider's server logs when you visit the site.
• Professional information — job title, industry, and company details where provided in a business enquiry context.

We do not collect special category data (e.g. health, biometric, or financial data) through this website.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide information about our services.
• Manage and fulfil client contracts and service agreements.
• Send relevant communications where you have consented or where we have a legitimate interest.
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We process your personal data under the following lawful bases:

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 2 years. Client data is retained in line with our contractual and statutory obligations.

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and we may disclose it where required by law or by a regulatory authority. The providers we currently use for this website are:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery, which involves processing technical data such as IP addresses in server logs.
• Resend — delivery of the emails generated when you submit an enquiry form, which involves processing the details you enter on that form.
• Microsoft 365 — our own email and business systems, where your enquiry is received and any subsequent correspondence is held.

7. Transfers outside the UK

Some of the providers above are based in, or store data in, countries outside the United Kingdom — principally the United States and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the UK Government's adequacy regulations, or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data continues to be protected to UK standards.

8. Vitals and the free email check

Vitals is our own Microsoft 365 assessment product. It runs on a separate site at vitals.innovagroup.tech, on different infrastructure, and anything you do there is covered by the terms and data processing agreement published on that site rather than by this policy. Innova Technologies Group Ltd is the same company behind both, so this is a change of service and not a transfer to anyone else.

The free email check on this site does not process anything here. It hands the domain name you enter to the Vitals checker at app.vitals.innovagroup.tech, which reads the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that your domain already publishes to the public internet. Those are DNS records rather than personal data, no sign-in is involved, and nothing is read from your systems.

9. Cookies and local storage

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not share your browsing behaviour with anyone. The only thing we store on your device is a single entry in your browser's local storage recording that you have dismissed our cookie notice, so that it is not shown to you again. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required to serve and secure the site.

If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them. You can clear or block this storage through your browser settings at any time.

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your data in certain circumstances.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@innovagroup.tech. We will respond within one month, as UK GDPR requires. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO, under whose register we appear with the reference ZC227294, at ico.org.uk.

11. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
